Project overview

Grandi Manufacturing produced a substantial sacrificial bracelet anode assembly for WBHO Coastal, designed for use in a demanding coastal or marine infrastructure environment.

The assembly was manufactured for application around a large-diameter pipeline or tubular structure, where cathodic protection plays an important role in helping protect metal from corrosion. In coastal and marine environments, steel structures are exposed to moisture, salt and electrochemical activity, all of which can accelerate corrosion if not correctly managed.

Sacrificial anodes are commonly used as part of cathodic protection systems. They are designed to corrode preferentially, helping protect the primary structure to which they are attached. Bracelet anodes are a specific configuration used around cylindrical structures such as pipelines, piles or similar tubular elements.

This project demonstrates Grandi Manufacturing’s ability to support large-scale infrastructure and construction work with specialist metal fabrication, practical engineering and careful assembly.
