Grandi Manufacturing recently undertook a specialised marine project involving a luxury superyacht named Pegasus. The scope of the project was to remove an existing bow thruster tube and install a new one. This seemingly straightforward task was, in reality, highly complex and required intricate engineering. The work included machining cavities and fixing holes for the new tube, welding both inside and out, and conducting non-destructive tests such as dye penetration and hardness tests.
